Identifying Uncommon Errors and How to Repair Them..

Every now and then, you might encounter errors on your computer that are not typical or common ones. However, there will always be a possible resolution per error and listed below are some uncommon errors and how to repair them.

A CRC error or Cyclic Redundancy Check error occurs when there is a problem during transmission of data. CRC is done automatically whenever you transmit or receive data through the Internet, over a network, or from some external media such as CD-ROMs, zip disks, or flash disks. The errors are usually due to corruption or data loss during the transmission, damaged files or transmission media, or problems in the connection that you used. To be able to repair this error, if you are using the Internet, check for any fault in your Internet connection by checking the connectors or cables, or contacting your service provider. If you are using external transmission data, make sure that the media you are using is not damaged. Should these connections be working, the problem may be in the data, which may be corrupt.

The Spoolsv.exe file in your computer is used to control the printing process of your PC. A Spoolsv.exe error occurs when there is a buildup of .SHD and .SPL files, which are files that store spool information of your printer. To be able to fix these, delete the files from the system. To be able to do this, go to the Start menu and select Run. In the space provided, type in Services.msc. In the window opened, right-click Print Spooler and select Stop. Next, go to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers and then delete all the files contained in the folder. Should you be unable to fix this error through these steps, you can use your System Restore utility to when you system had no Spoolsv.exe error.

During your system startup, a Svchost.exe file is used to check the windows registry and to load the required services during this time. If there is a problem with a recent Windows XP system update, you might receive a Svchost.exe error. To be able to repair this, disable the Windows automatic update and perform a manual system update. To be able to disable automatic updates, right-click on My Computer and click on Properties. Open the Automatic Updates tab and select Turn Off Automatic Updates. Click on Apply and close the dialog box. You now need to restart your PC. Open the Start menu and select Windows Update so you can manually update your system. This will usually fix the error. If this does not work, leave the Automatic Update as disabled and just continue to install manual updates on your computer regularly
